Dr C Baker GP Partner

Gender: Female

About me:

I graduated in 1994 from St Bartholomew’s Medical College. I initially worked in East London, before moving out to Hertfordshire. I completed my GP training in 1998 and subsequently worked in a practice in Harpenden for six years. I spent three years living just outside New York, before moving to Woking in 2008. I joined Southview in 2011 as a salaried GP and am now a part time partner at Southview.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice, although I am particularly interested in women’s health. I fit coils and the contraceptive implant.
I am also CEO of the local GP federation NICS, which was set up to enable GPs to work together to deliver care in different ways. I am constantly looking to see if there are innovative and collaborative ways of working that will improve the care that patients receive.
