Dr Nahdia Akbar
I graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2001. My post-graduate training has predominantly been based in the South East of England including the Royal Surrey County Hospital and St Georges Hospital where I initially trained in general medicine particularly diabetes.
In 2007 I decided to move into general practice and have been working in the Woking area since then. I joined Southview Medical Practice as a part-time salaried GP and became a partner in April 2016. I am currently the lead GP for diabetes. However I enjoy all aspects of general practice.
I live locally with my husband and two children and when I am not working as a GP and a mother, I enjoy spinning, cycling and reading fiction.
